# Do I Need a Music License?

Yes, if you’re broadcasting music, you may need a music license to comply with legal requirements. While Zeno has agreements with ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC in the United States, these only cover content streamed via the zeno.fm website and do not extend to individual station websites, apps, or third-party platforms. We do not also have an agreement with SoundExchange in any of our platform.

If you’re broadcasting on your own website, app, or via other aggregators, we recommend obtaining music licenses from the appropriate organizations in your country. Each country has its own licensing bodies, so it's essential to research and ensure you are fully compliant with local regulations.
