How to set up BUTT

Set Up BUTT to Stream to Your Zeno.fm Station

Create Your Zeno Account (if you don’t have one yet)
Before setting up BUTT, you need a Zeno account to connect your station.

1. Open BUTT and Access Settings

Launch BUTT and go to the main window.
Click “Settings”

2. Add Your Server Info

Click “ADD” under the Server section.
Open your station’s Dashboard on tools.zeno.fm → Broadcast Settings to find your station details.
Select IceCast as the server type.
For Name, enter anything you like (e.g., "My Station").
In Address, enter the IP from the Host of your Broadcast link.
Fill in Port, Password, and Mountpoint from your Zeno.fm Broadcast settings. Make sure to add a “/” before the mountpoint (e.g., "/mystation").
Click ADD and select the server you just added.

3. Set Up the Audio

In Audio Settings, select:
Channel: Stereo
Codec: MP3
Bitrate: 128k (good quality streaming)
Click Save.

4. Start Streaming

Go back to the main BUTT window.
Press the Play button to start streaming audio to your station!

Connection

Tip: If you haven’t created a Zeno account yet, don’t skip 🎧 Create Your Zeno Account Now. You won’t be able to stream without an account.
