# How to set up SAM broadcaster

SAM Broadcaster is a professional DJ system that allows you to stream audio over the internet to listeners across the world.

You can download it from: [http://spacial.com/](https://spacial.com/)  

1. Go to the pull down menu for Window and select Encoders.

2. To add a new encoder, press the plus button.

  3. Select the type of encoding MP3.

4. Then you have to setup the bitrate. We recommend you to select 128Kbps, which is the standard industry quality.

5. Enter your stations credentials
* Go to the "Broadcast" tab in the **"Settings"** section of your station's administration panel.
* Fill in the blanks with the server's information.
* Fill in the blanks with the information that you can find right on your dashboard.

|| **Note: In the section "Mount", you have to add a slash / before you type your respective mountpoint.**

6. Highlight the encoder and press the "Play" button to start encoding.
