How to get a radio station up and running in just 10 minutes!

Getting your radio station live on Zeno.fm is quick and easy. Whether you’re a seasoned broadcaster or just starting out, you can have your station broadcasting in just 10 minutes by following these simple steps.

Choose Your Broadcasting Method

There are three ways to stream your station , and it’s important to choose the method that works best for you:

1. Stream Live with an Encoder

If you prefer to stream live content in real-time, you can use an encoder such as BUTT, Mixxx, or any IceCast-compatible encoder. This is perfect for live shows, DJ sets, or real-time commentary.
Watch out Youtube tutorials on setting up these encoders:
BUTT
Radio Boss
Mixxx
Virtual DJ

Simply configure the encoder with your Zeno.fm stream URL, mount point, and password, and you’re ready to go live.

To check your Stream Encoder Settings:

Go to "Stations" on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
Choose the station, then click "Broadcast Settings".

Please add a forward slash ""/"" at the beginning of your mountpoint when connecting.

2. Auto-DJ (Cloud Playlist)

Prefer not to go live? No problem! With Auto-DJ, you can upload tracks to your playlist.
Create a playlist that will automatically loop 24/7 on your station.
This is perfect for music stations or curated content that you want to keep running even when you’re not around.
Find out about limits on Auto DJ tracks by going to the Plans tab on tools.zeno.fm

3. Relay an Existing Stream

Already have a stream running elsewhere? You can easily relay your existing stream to Zeno.fm.
Just input your current streaming URL, and Zeno will broadcast it to your listeners via our platform. This is ideal if you are migrating from another streaming service or want to extend your reach.

Please note that relaying an external Stream URL or Webstream is currently only available for PLANS subscribers using our Automation Software or Master Relay.
