What Does Burst Buffer Mean for My Stream?

Burst Buffer refers to the initial amount of audio (in seconds) that is sent to listeners when they first connect to your stream. This helps ensure smooth playback by buffering a portion of the audio before it starts playing, reducing interruptions or lag.

This setting is particularly useful for managing listener experience, especially on unstable network connections, as it helps minimize skips or buffering delays. Please note that this feature only applies to Icecast type of streams.
